Here are some great written tips at https://experience.xfinity.com/our-tips-for-getting-the-most-out-of-your-home-wi-fi/ This video covers some topics involved in improving your Wi-Fi experience, especially where to place your router. Where you place a router is, for example, very important. You want to place a Wi-Fi router in a central location; if you put the router on the floor of your basement, for example, you're wasting a lot of good signal strengh on the dirt below your home! Comcast...you've come a long way, but there's still room for improvement.
Green home remodeling ideas can save you money and help protect the planet. Being environmentally thoughtful has becomes a way of life for many Americans and Homeowners all over the country are doing what they need to do to help the environment. It can be as easy as recycling bottles and cans to adding solar panels to your home. Green home remodeling ideas will save you money over the long haul and make your home more appealing to buyers when you're ready to sell, while still saving the Earth in the process. Adding solar panels to your home will save you a lot of money over time. They're expensive to install, but they're worth the investment. Another green idea is composite decking. It's made from a blend of wood waste and plastic. You won't need to seal it, which saves you time and money plus fewer chemicals will be released into the air. And since the deck won't rot, it will save tress from being cut down in the process. Lastly, synthetic grass is becoming more and more popular with homeowners. It looks real and it's great for homes in drier climates that use gallons of water to keep their grass alive. Synthetic grass requires a lot less effort than real grass and after fifteen years it basically pays for itself. If you're looking to raise the value of your home, especially for resale purposes, you've undoubtedly heard all sorts of ideas that will get the job done, many of which may be too expensive or too difficult for you to handle at the moment. Many require a large chunk of change, and while they may very well give you a return on your investment, you may not have this kind of money lying around. Here are four budget-friendly ways to raise your home's value and increase its future resale value at the same time: Change Out Doors Your doors and windows be easily seen from the outside of your home, thus impacting curb appeal, but they also significantly impact your home's interior. Consider energy-efficient windows that keep heating and cooling costs down and also fit the design of your home. For outside doors, try fiberglass or steel that keeps energy costs low and improve home security. Add Some Square Footage If possible, find a way to increase space in your home. This could be as easy as adding a patio or deck for outdoor entertaining. If you have the space and the funds, consider adding an additional room, which can be a huge boon for home buyers who need an extra bedroom or bonus room. Update Plumbing and Plumbing Fixtures Little leaks and plumbing issues can cost you a great deal on your home value, especially if you're actively trying to sell your home. Hire a professional plumber to address your pipes and drains and to change out plumbing fixtures for a modernized appearance. If your water heater is getting old, consider purchasing a new one at the same time. I also recommend updating outdated lighting fixtures in the bathrooms. Paint Paint can do a great deal to modernize a home and improve its value for a very low initial cost. Paint walls a neutral color, and spiff up kitchen and bathroom cabinets with a new color. Many older cabinets can be salvaged with a quick sanding, a coat of primer and a new color. Not every renovation or remodel has to cost a great deal of money to be a wise investment. As you can see, there are many small, easy changes that will yield great results.
