Bio Greg Siff is an American actor, artist and playwright who rose to fame as a lead in the 2003 American Idol feature film, From Justin to Kelly. Siff was raised in the New York seaside town of Rockaway Beach, beginning his entertainment career in 1991 with roles in several commercials as well as appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Live. Siff attended Lawrence Woodmere Academy in Woodmere, New York, where he joined the boys chorus at the New York City Opera at Lincoln Center. Siff graduated cum laude from New York University in 2002 before moving to Los Angeles 2003. Siff currently splits time between Los Angeles and New York. Film, television and theater career Siff had a bit part in the 1997 comedy hit In & Out, following that turn with a two-season stint as host of the Disney Channel extreme sports program, Z Games. Siff's most prominent film role to date took place in 2003, when he starred alongside Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini in the "American Idol"-inspired "From Justin To Kelly". In 2008, Siff wrote and starred in "The Nothing Boys", a critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical play about a young man who returns home to his high school for his 10-year reunion only to find one other student in attendance. The play ran from May 2 through July 27 in Hollywood's theater district. LA Weekly's Neal Weaver wrote, "Greg Siff's frankly autobiographical play blends nostalgia and disillusion in a sweetly touching tale based on his high school experiences...it's inventive and funny..." while Alice Hunter of LA Splash said, "The Nothing Boys had a very significant and uplifting message and was executed so well that it simply must be in your list of must see performances." "The Nothing Boys" was produced by Rob Weiss, best known as producer of the HBO series Entourage. A portion of the proceeds from "The Nothing Boys" was donated to Covenant House California. Art career Siff's pop abstract expressionist artwork has earned a strong following within the Hollywood landscape, with pieces sold to Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr., Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Zoe, Lorraine Bracco, Harvey Keitel, Busy Phillips and others. Siff's first art exhibition, "the heartfirebreathemanifesto" was hosted at the Standard Hotel in Hollywood on February 13, 2006. All works were sold that evening and all proceeds from this exhibit were donated to J.U.i.C.E. Justice By Uniting in Creative Energy. Siff's second show at the Standard Hotel, titled "The Marshmallow Show", was held on November 12, 2006.
